The Golden Handshake
When you’re ready to take a break from the business, get out of the business altogether, or retire, RealtyQuest Inc. has an option for you – temporary or permanent.
Step 1.
Move your license to our referral department. You will still have an active license but no longer have any board or MLS dues. The cost with us is $150.00 per year. You’ll be on a 90/10 split with RealtyQuest.
Step 2.
After you are setup to receive referral fees, we will set you up with an Adopting Agent in our office to build a relationship with and adopt your client list.
Step 3.
Reach out to all your clients (everyone you’ve ever worked with, sold to, closed business with & have a relationship with), and let them know you are stepping away from the business and you’re continuing to work with your RealtyQuest Adopted Agent who will be handling your business moving forward. Of course, you will be in the background should they need you.
Step 4.
Send us your client list. We’ll load these clients into our CRM so they are tagged forever with your information. Your RealtyQuest Adopted Agent will then contact all your clients for an initial introduction. We’ll work with your clients the same way you did; sending newsletters, quarterly calls, market updates, etc. If you let us know what your list is used to, we’ll take it from there.
We will continue to follow up with these adopted clients and service all their real estate needs.
We are thrilled to help you make a successful transition out of real estate. Whether you have been in the business for 2 or 20 years, have a data base of 25 or 625 people, we will carry the torch for you and continue to satisfy your customer base that has taken extraordinary time and effort to build & create.
